HOW TO ASSEMBLE A SKATEBOARD
When you have all of the components to build the board:
1. Grip tape - use fine to ruff , when it comes to grip tape you probably want to go with a fine grip tape, it won't ware your shoes as much. Pick the kind you like the best. If it has a pop out logo, carefully pop this piece out and put on the back of the board so you know the front from the back. Start at the nose place the grip tape at the tip and run your hand down the middle of the board and then smooth out from the center, eliminating any bubbles under the tape. Score the edges of the board with a screw driver . Starting at the end of the board, run a razor blade around the edge of the board cutting the excess grip tap off.Use sand paper to smooth sides if necessary.
Hardware - Puncture holes from the top through the griptape then insert the Hardware screws through the holes in the deck from top down.
2. Risers - If you use riser pads or spacers, place them between deck and truck. Place the truck over the screws.
Bearings - Insert the nut over the screws and tighten securely. Do not over tighten. Insert 2 bearings per wheel. (One on each side of the wheel) use the skate tool to press bearings firmly in wheel.
6. Wheels - Insert wheel on each end of the truck. Apply the nut and tighten. Do not over tighten and allow wheel to spin freely. Use your skate tool to adjust the tension of your trucks to your desired performance.
Be safe and enjoy your new board
